"If only you could see the vision as I have. I wish I had your bodies to do this work. I would run from house to house telling everyone of the gospel. And after I lost the strength to run I would begin to walk, and after I collapsed from walking I would begin to crawl, and after my knees were so bloody that I could not use them I would use my arms to drag myself, and once every muscle in my body was gone I would begin to yell! Oh, only if you could see the vision I have." -Spencer W. Kimball

Only fourteen left:(
Dear Family & Friends,
What a week of miracles it has been!!! I am so blessed!!! The work here in Nottingham is picking up at a rapid speed and I am so thankful to be a part of that. This week we got 6 new investigators!!!! Can you believe that? It's amazing what happens when you work hard and do your best. Heavenly Father is just putting people into our path who are ready to receive the gospel. I would love to share one experience that happened this week. On Friday, my companion and I took a train to the mission office for a training meeting. It was so great to be with all the other missionaries and to feel of their power. President Rasmussen taught us about the Doctrine of Christ and how to be more obedient. He has changed a few things that used to be acceptable in the mission with the previous mission president. Some people were upset that we couldn't listen to Disney music anymore (haha), but I love the opportunity to rise to a new level of committment, because as we do, we receive a new level of blessings and miracles! After the training meeting, we took a train back to Nottingham and we decided to get off at the Long Eaton stop which is a little area next to Beeston. Brother Thomas, our ward mission leader, was going to pick us up from the station and take us to dinner at his house. We decided to sit down on a bench and wait for him to arrive. We sat down and began talking about random things when this guy came and sat down on the bench a few feet away from us. He was wearing tattered jeans, a messy tank top and had tattoos all over his arms. We just kept talking to each other and eventually, he recognized that we weren't from England and asked us where we were from. We began making small talk and he asked us what we were doing in England. (That is my favorite question because it leads perfectly into talking about the gospel). We told him and he asked us if we ever go out and "let our hair down." Haha, we were like, yes, but probably not in the way that you do. We then told him how we have never drank alcohol or smoked. He asked if we felt like our religion restricts us. It was perfect because we were able to immediately talk about agency and how we know that we have a Heavenly Father that allows us to make our own decisions but he gives us commandments for the sole purpose of giving us more freedom. He paused and said, "Hmm, you guys may actually have it right!" Haha. In my head, I was like, yep, we sure do. Haha. Anyways, we continued to ask him questions and we asked him what it would mean to him to know that he could be forgiven of everything and that he could start fresh. He said that it would mean everything to him, but that he didn't think it was possible. It opened up the perfect opportunity to testify that it IS possible! Through baptism and the atonement we CAN be forgiven of everything and start with a clean slate. Right then our phone rang and it was Brother Thomas, but I was like, NOPE, I'm not answering this right now. Haha, so I silenced it and told this guy (we found out his name was Andy), that we had to go and then asked if we could get his phone number. Right then, his train rolled up. Inside my head, I was like noo! We need to get his contact info! Right as we were getting his phone number the train started to leave and I felt really bad that he missed his train. We apologized but he said, "It's alright! I believe in fate and that everything happens for a reason. I know that we have met for a reason, I'll just catch the next train." He then told us that he lives in Beeston (which was a miracle in itself because he lives way close to us), and we were able to set up an return appointment for Monday (today). It was such a cool experience and I just KNEW that this was God's hand in the work. We were led to him, and I am just so excited to teach him tonight! My companion and I left that experience feeling so so happy. Haha, I don't even think I can recall a time when I've felt happier (except for at baptisms!) We probably looked a little crazy because we were jumping up and down and hugging each other.
This is the true church! I know it. It brings fullness of joy and lasting peace, but only if we are willing to follow its commandments. I love knowing that as long as I do what I know I should, I will be happy and Heavenly Father will guide path.
Thank you all for everything you do! I love you all.
Love,
Sister Jensen
