It's Springtime!

Dear Family & Friends!
It is finally springtime! We're starting to get a bit more sunshine
but still some rain. I won't complain though! The sunshine brings out
the best in people so it makes our work a little easier.
Monday: So we had the regular Pday... shopping and napping and writing
letters! We had a lesson at 6:15 with our investigator Leevoy. He's
doing SO well!! I am so impressed with him. We taught him the
restoration and he totally GOT it, which like never happens. Haha we
usually have to teach  that lesson two or three times before it really
sinks in. But he's a clever one. After the lesson we had to run back
to our car and pick up the Elders to take our poor District Leader,
Elder Packer to the doctor's.
Tuesday: We had a lesson in the morning with Artu! He's doing really
well and his english is improving! We went over the Introduction to
the BOM and tried to explain that to him. He is slowly understanding
but the language barrier is making it difficult. We are still waiting
to get Polish pamphlets so we can teach him properly. Until then, he
is keeping his committments by reading the assigned chapters we give
him so that is a great sign! We then had lunch, and a lesson with a
new guy, Nick. He's chinese and a buddhist. It was a difficult lesson.
It felt more like a discussion as he kept just telling us what
buddhists believe. We'll probably try to teach him once more and see
how it goes. After that we had a lesson with Kristina. She's doing
alright... she was previously a muslim and she still believes in parts
of it so she's kinda having a hard time combining her faiths. We just
invited her to pray and ask God what to do! After that, we did some
street contacting in city center, then had a lesson with Agus! He is
so great. We taught him Word of Wisdom and he committed to live it!
Then we came home for dinner and planning.
Wednesday:We had to have district meeting this day because there was a
funeral at the chapel on thursday. So we had district meeting and it
was all about using the scriptures more in lessons. After that we were
supposed to have some lessons and they all flogged :/ So we did some
finding in city centre and then had a Dinner appointment, then ward
coordination! After coordination, we taught Gaspar, who is a friend of
Agus'. His engish is VERY minimal so we tried to teach the Plan of
Salvation and invited him to read the pamphlet on his own.
Thursday: We had a lesson in the morning with Artu! We went over 3 ne
11 and tried to answer his questions. We had to hurry to the chapel
after that to go to a funeral. We only got the end of it and then
helped them to set up for lunch. We had to leave straight after to
Loughborough for exchanges. I stayed in coventry with Sister Sassenus.
We came back and taught Leevoy. Sister Sassensus is a great teacher
and also really good at getting people to commit to things! So by some
miracle we were able to put Leevoy on a baptismal date! It's way far
away... May 17th, but it's the only one he would commit to. Haha so
hopefully we'll be able to move it up. It was a really good lesson. We
taught the gospel of Jesus Christ and tried to teach it using
analogies from sports. We had a dinner appointment after that. She had
forgotten about the dinner, but she told us to stay and she made
something. We went with her after to see an old widow in the ward.
Friday: We started off the morning with some street contacting and
found a couple cool people to teach! So that was really good. Then we
were invited to have some food that was leftover from the funeral. It
was proper indian food and it was WAY spicy but delicious! After that
we had to leave for Loughborough again to end the exchange. It took
about an hour to drive there. We exchanged back and then attempted to
come back to coventry... I say attempt because we got stuck in
stand-still traffic for FOUR hours. What was meant to be a 40 minute
drive turned into a four hour drive. Sister Hanks and I were SO bored.
We both have forgotten what it's like to have that much of free
time!!! We went through our phone and texted everyone in it to see if
anyone would meet with us. We got 3 responses and return appointments
so in a way it turned out alright! Haha. We finally made it back to
coventry at 6:40 and then had dinner and a lesson with Sarah! She's
doing SOOOO well! She's all ready for her baptism. We taught her the
law of tithing and she agreed to live it. Before we had taught her she
had already gone through her finances to see if she could make it work
and she said she could! :) She's awesome. She told us that she knows
when she is baptised she will die a mormon. haha. LOVE HER.
Saturday: We played football in the morning! One of our investigators
was supposed to come but didn't show up. So that was a bummer. We had
lunch after that and then went to city centre to fill out our progress
record online and then we had a lesson with Artu. He had been 5
minutes late to our lesson on Thursday so he showed up with two
boquets of flowers for me and sister Hanks!! haha he is the nicest
guy. He said, "I hate late so this is my apology." haha. We taught him
then had another lesson at 4 with Carol! She is doing so well and
seeing a difference in her life since her baptism. We did some finding
after that and then came home for dinner and weekly planning.
Sunday:Church! Sarah and Leevoy came so that was great! I love sundays
on the mission! We went to service after church and then had a lesson
with one of the people that responded to our text when we were stuck
in traffic! His name is Taylor. He's chinese and he has already met
some of the elders through people they were teaching. We found out he
is in our area though so we taught him! We taught about God and prayer
and baptism. He asked, "Will God really listen to me even though i've
never spoken to him before, and I'm Asian?" hahah it sounds really
funny but he was totally sincere when he said it! We testified that
God would really hear him and that he loves ALL his children despite
their race. It was a powerful lesson and we really look forward to
seeing Taylor again! After that, we had a dinner appointment and then
went to a bit of ward choir.
It was a great week! I am still learning so much every day. I love it.
Today I had I really cool personal study. I was reading in the Ensign
from the april 2010 General conference. It was a lot about teaching
our children. I read one talk that really stood out about mothers
teaching their children. I started to read in Preach my gospel, the
introduction. I replaced the work "missionary" for "mother" and
"investigator" for "children". WOW! It totally changed everything and
made me realize that one of the biggest reasons I am here on a mission
is so that I can learn the skills to be able to teach my children the
gospel and also to gain the testimony so that I am fully converted. I
have such a testimony of Preach my Gospel and the amazing tool that it
is, not only in missionary work but in all aspects of my life. I will
study this book for the rest of my life and teach from it when I am a
parent. I am so thankful for my mission and all that I am learning. I
would encourage everyone to study from Preach my Gospel every day! I
know that as you do you, your understanding of the gospel will
increase, your desire to share it will increase, and your testimony
will be deepened! I love you all so much. Thanks for all your love and
support!
Love,

Sister Jensen <3

Fabulous week

Dear Family & Friends!
Another fabulous week in the mission field! (I know I say that every week, it's true, and I just can't be bothered to come up with a more clever way of introducing my email!) Anyways! Rundown of the week...
Monday: P-day! It was the first Pday in ages that I actually got to take a nap! It was wonderful. I think I slept for two hours. We also did our emailing, grocery shopping, and cleaned the car! Later that night we stopped by some potential investigators, did some finding in city centre and also dropped of some flowers to the Relief Society president.
Tuesday: It was a CRAZY day! We had 8 lessons lined up and only half of them went through! haha. But that is pretty normal. We taught our friend Artu. He's the one from Poland. SUCH a nice guy. He's been here for only a month and his English is already great. He's looking for a job here so he goes to the library every day for like 4 hours just to study English. We met with this crazy guy Mark at IKEA. He classified himself as a Pagan/heathen and told us some REALLY interesting things. haha. He brought a couple pieces of paper that he printed off about Mormons and had us look over it to see if it was right. It was pretty accurate actually but got into some deep dodge. haha. So that was interesting. We also met with Flori! She's such a sweet lady. So she's romanian and friends with Kristina, our other investigator. She's gone through some really hard things lately. She's studying at the University to be a lawyer so she's really busy. But we got to teach her about the Restoration and it went really well. She loved the lesson and said we could come back anytime. We also taught Leevoy for the first time. He's chinese and he's hilarious. His english is fantastic so it's really easy to teach him. He's studying sports right now and says he's the only chinese person in his whole class. He loves to talk to the Elders about football. It was a great day! I love teaching.
Wednesday: We had to leave really early in the morning to get to the mission office for leadership council. Elder Teixeira and his wife were there to give us some training. It was SO brilliant. I took about 4 pages of notes in one hour. He talked a lot about how our area needs to be the model for other missionaries and that when you're a leader everything that you do and say COUNTS. He also asked us if we want to be good leaders? Of course we said, yes! Then he said, well then you need to be a good teacher! And to be a good teacher you need to be a good finder! That hit me pretty hard and motivated me to be a better finder. Well, we had to leave  the mission office pretty quickly after the meeting because they were having a zone conference right after. We went back to Coventry, grabbed some lunch and then went to city centre. We had a lesson with a guy Andy. He's a young adult.. interesting lad. Told us that he doesn't believe in good or bad. So we've got lots of work to do with him! We had a lesson with Angel after that. Carol came and helped us teach the plan of salvation! It was so great. She was like asking us in the lesson, "can i teach that part?" it was so cute. haha. We had a DA after that and then ward coordination.
Thursday: We did LOTS And LOTS of fnding in city centre! We had basically from 10:00 am- 5:00 pm of just talking to people on the street. I think six months ago I would have totally been hating it but it was actually really fun. Sister Hanks and I have been working on how to enjoy finding. The Elders are really good at it. They just love to talk to people. The Zone Leaders let us borrow their recorder and we got to do some interviews to random people on the street. It was great. We interviewed this one guy, Matthew, and we asked him, "If you could ask God one question, what would you want to know?" He thought about it for a bit, then said, "I'd want to ask him what my Dad is doing right now." We found out that his Dad had died. After the interview we talked to him a bit more about it and about the Plan of Salvation and we got his contact details and a return appointment. It was SO cool. We taught Sarah later that night. She is AMAZING!!!! We basically just brought a baptismal calendar and said, Well, you wanted us to prepare you for baptism so when do you want to get baptised? At first, she said April 26th, haha then I pulled the card, "I hope I'll be here! I could be transferred..." (which was a genuine concern) and she said, "no! You have to be here! When is the latest we could do it and you'll still be here? So we set her on a date for April 12th!!!! Then, she was like, "Should we see if Kristina wants to do it that day too??" We were like, uh yes!! So she calls Kristina right there and puts her on speaker phone and says, "I'm sitting here with the sisters... How do you feel about baptism on April 12th?" Haha, and Kristina just responded, "Sarah, I already told you I wanted to do it! So yeah! Go on then, let's do it!" It was SOOOO exciting!! We were all screaming and laughing. hahaha. We taught Sarah a lesson that night too and it was a great ending to our day.
Friday: ZONE CONFERENCE! I love these! We had to leave pretty early because it was in Leicester and we had to pick up the Elders on the way. Elder Teixeira and his wife gave us some more training and it was SO good. He talked about improving our spiritual communication and also how our mission isn't just to save the people we teach, but it's preparing us to save our future children and families. One of my favourite things he talked about was the parable of the talents in Matthew 25. He likened it to our areas in the mission and how we need to make the difference in the area and take what it offers and double it. After Zone Conference we went on exchanges. I stayed with Sister Urbani (she's from France) in Coventry . We did some finding that night and came in for dinner!
Saturday: We were supposed to have lessons in the morning... but they all flogged. :( It's okay though, we got to do some more finding and we met some awesome people! We swapped back in the afternoon and then had a lesson with Kristina. We talked to her about baptism and taught her the first half of the plan of salvation. The spirit was SO strong and she kept getting chills! It was great. We really challenged her to read the BOM and pray about it so she can be ready for her baptism. We had a dinner later that night with the Itota family. They are from Nigeria but have lived here for about 8 years. They took us out to a buffet restaurant and it was SO packed. In total the dinner appointment was about 2 1/2 hours! Haha normally they should be only 1 hour, but it was out of our control so we were just thankful for them. I almost felt like I was in America when I was inside the restaurant. Tons of food, tons of people! haha.
Sunday: Another amazing Sunday! We got to give a presentation in Primary about the resurrection and it was so fun being with all the little kiddies. We also had an awesome gospel principles class. We role played the war in heaven. After church we had lunch and then went to do service. After service we went to a Dinner Apointment with Bishop's family. They are SO incredibly British. Super dry and sarcastic sense of humour. It was fun though. They asked us for our addresses and typed it in to google earth. I got to see the house!! It was SOOOO weird! Everything lookes so so so so so HUGE and open. It's weird how i've just adjusted to how compact everything is here. The streets are so small you usually have to pull over to the curb to let cars pass you before moving on. And i've really grown to love roundabouts! I'm not looking forward to driving in America again! Well, after dinner we did some finding in city centre, and met two guys from Camaroon that we'll start teaching this week! Then we had call-ins and companionship study. It was SUCH a great week! I got to hear from Sister Muller who went home this week and it makes me really nervous to ever come home! I have really grown to love England and the people here. I love my mission and it is such a joy to be in the service of God. There is no happier lifestyle.
Thank you for all your love and support! I love you all so much!

Love, Sister Jensen

Transfer #10!

Well, I'm now on transfer #10! CRAZY! I thought for sure that sister Muller would stay here with us in a threesome. But SURPRISE! nope. We got the dodge calls on Monday night and sister Muller was moved to Wylde Green, right next to the mission office, where she'll serve until this friday when she leaves! Crazy! Even, crazier, guess who is my current companion??? Sister Hanks!!! My MTC companion!!!!! :) I was soooo soooo stoked when I heard. Reunited a year after we were split up. Well this week was super busy. On Tuesday we taught a couple lessons in the morning but mostly i cleaned the flat while Sister Muller packed. Then we had to drive her to the mission office so she could have her departing interview and trunky night with all the missionaries that would leave this week. I picked up two sisters from the office whose companions were also going home and took them back to Coventry for the night. We had a dinner appointment that night and then a lesson and some finding. On wednesday we woke up to a phone call from the AP's saying that we needed to come back to the mission office and move the sisters' car because it was parked where they were taking pictures. So that was an adventure! We rushed back to Coventry and had a lesson with Angel, a cute chinese girl. Then we had to help out with transfers, getting people's luggage from one place to another. I got to pick up my new companion! It was a great reunion. We had a lesson with Carol and then a dinner appointment and more finding. Thursday was District meeting. We talked about different forms of motivation and what we should be motivated by. We had an appointment at 2, which flogged. But we did get to see Agus! We gave him the Book of Mormon in Indonesian and he was so happy. We did more finding as our other lesson flogged and then went to a Dinner appointment. Friday we did some weekly planning... more lessons flogged and more finding! haha. It's the usual. We met a really cool guy, Artuar and we got to teach him. He's from Poland and he's catholic. It was a rough lesson as his English is not good at all and we didn't have any polish materials to teach him with. But he still wants to meet with us so that's okay! Saturday we did some more district finding and our recent convert, Carol, taught us how to make chinese dumplings! We had more flogged appointments and more finding and also a flogged Dinner appointment! haha. It's just been one of those weeks.  We had to do a lot of planning for this upcoming transfer... setting up exchanges and everything. We also met with sergiu and he brought a friend so hopefully we can begin teaching him too! Sunday was a great day. It was ward conference. Sarah was there and loved it! After the meeting she came up to us and set up an appointment and said that she wants us to help her prepare for her baptism! We're so excited for her!!! We will meet with her this week and hopefully set her on a date for March 29th. Please pray for her! We can feel spring is on it's way! There is a good feeling in the air and everyone here is happier when the sun is out! I can't wait for summer to come. :) Thanks for all your prayers and support! Love you all so much!!!

Blink and gone!

Dear Family & Friends, Well I feel like I just wrote an email last week then blinked my eyes and here I am again! I can't believe how fast this transfer has gone. We have only one week left until the next transfer! We have only two more exchanges as well and then we are finished. Alright, recap of the week: Monday night-Tuesday: After P-day, we drove our way to Loughborough for exchanges. I stayed in Loughborough with Sister Mackay. She's from Australia and SO sweet. Most of the exchanges was just finding. We talked to some really great people though! We had one lesson with a lady, Patricia. She's from Lima, Peru. She was just this tiny cute little lady. We taught her from the BOM and committed her to read and pray about it. We also taught a lesson on the street to a black guy from London. He asked some crazy questions and definitely knew a lot about the church already. It was a good lesson though and even in the craziness of City Centre, I felt the spirit testify to him that it was true. I'm sure he felt it as well. We exchanged back at about 5:15 and headed back to Coventry for a dinner appointment at 6:30. After the DA, we went into city centre to meet with Agus. He is just amazing. He told us that he is working from 10 am-12 am every day besides Tuesday and he sends the money home to his family. (I know, it sounds illegal to me too.) But he doesn't complain at all and on his free day, he meets with us. Every time we see him he asks if we have the BOM in his language yet. We FINALLY got it this week and will give it to him on Tuesday. He still can't come to church but we have a vision of him becoming converted and when he goes back to Indonesia, he can teach the gospel to his family and be baptised!! Wednesday: Sister Muller and I were both ill on Wednesday and just SO exhausted so we got permission to stay in for a bit. We did go out though and taught some lessons. We taught Carol and prepared her for her baptismal interview (which she was way nervous about!). Then we had a lesson with Sergiu. Ah, I just love this guy! He is so cool and probably one of my favourite investigators. He's so intelligent and just takes every word in. He has SO many questions. He brought a friend to the lesson as well and they both just loved it all. Sergiu called us that night with more questions too and asked us what we thought about the Nicene Creed. We told him about the 13 articles of faith and he had me read all of them to him and he asked questions about them all. Haha, imagine how I was feeling when I read #10 "We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of ten tribes, that Zion the New Jerusalem will be built upon the American continent and that Christ will reign personally upon the earth and that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisical glory." As you can imagine, he had a lot of questions about that one! Well, after our lesson we had a dinner appointment and then ward coordination. Thursday: We had district meeting in the morning. We talked about our goals as a district and where we are at and also shared experiences from the mission that we've had that has strengthened our testimony. We had to leave immediately after to Peterborough for exchanges. It's an hour and a half drive and we had to drive out of our mission boundary to get there. Haha. That was fun. I stayed in Peterborough with Sister Seguiera. She's from Brazil and she's a fireball! It was so fun serving with her. Peterborough is extremely diverse and has a lot of Muslims. There are two mosques within sight of each other. But we had some amazing miracles! As we were talking to a lady on the street, another lady came up to us and asked for our phone number! We were totally caught of guard and thought, why does she want our number? Then she said that she was being taught in Portugal by the sisters and that she had just moved to England! I can honestly say that's the first time on my mission when someone has ASKED to be taught. haha. And it was a huge miracles since Sister Sequiera speaks Portuguese! This lady also has a friend that lives with her from Brazil! So cool. Friday: We exchanged back around 2:00 and headed to Warwick for my Dr. Appointment. Good news! Everything was good with my thyroid but my ear is still blocked. He said just to continue using olive oil drops and it should clear with time. So we were also kinda freaking out because Carol was supposed to be baptised this Saturday. As we pulled up to our flat after the appointment we got a text from Carol saying she was confused and wanted to delay her baptism. We tried to call her but her phone was turned off and we didn't have her address because we always taught her in town. So we drove to city centre and walked around the university looking for her. We eventually got a hold of her friend Kathy's number (who was also going to be baptised on Saturday) and got her address. We knocked on the door and she answered! We went inside and just talked to her about how she was feeling. Apparently she had told one of her friends about her baptism and they tried to tell her that the church wasn't true and that she shouldn't be baptised. We all said a prayer together and then we explained that if she wanted to talk to God she needed to pray, and if she wanted God to talk to her, she needed to read her scriptures. So we told her to open the Book of Mormon and just begin reading! She opened to page 530 in the chinese edition and read the scripture about other sheep. We explained that that was the purpose of the BOM to show that God loves all his children. She then told us that in Chinese, the number 530 means "I love you". We testified that God loves her so much and wants her to live with Him forever. She said she understood and felt SO much better. It was a MIRACLE. We all went to dinner after and just tried to help Carol relax. Saturday: The day of the baptism!!! So, a little background. The Coventry ward is just on fire right now. There were 7 people scheduled to be baptised this day so we were getting as many of the members involved in it as possible. A different person was assigned to different people to baptise them. That morning we had to do some of our weekly planning and prepare for the baptism. We met with Carol at the chapel for her baptismal interview with Elder Packer and she passed! She felt much better after that. Also, the font in our chapel is broken at the moment so the stake arranged for a coach to pick everyone up that wanted to come to the baptism and take us all to Warwick. So we all met at the chapel at 4. Our investigators, Sergiu, Sarah, and Kristina were all there! Warwick is only about 15 minutes away too so it was perfect. It was crazy getting it all together but it worked out in the end! The chapel was PACKED for the baptism and it was so cool to see so many people in white. Seven people were baptised that day and it was so amazing to watch. Carol was SO happy and just looking amazing. One of the biggest miracles of all though was Sarah and Kristina. We talked to them after and they said that they both decided they want to be baptised and they want to do it together!! They asked, "What do we need to do to get there?" AH! We were SO happy!!!!! Also, Sergui LOVED it and talked to the Bishop for like an hour after the baptism. Haha. We all came back to the Coventry chapel after for refreshments. It was such an incredible day and one that I will remember forever. Sunday: 7 confirmations in a sacrament meeting takes a LONG time!!! It was so cool though to listen to how individual each of them were. Sergiu was finally able to meet one of the Recent Converts, who also used to be Christian Orthodox, and they talked all through Gospel Principles. YAY!! President and Sister Rasmussen also came to our ward. It was great having them there. After church we went and visited a family in the ward then went to service and then went to a Dinner appointment. We had to go home after and finish our weekly planning! It was an amazing Sabbath. Well, I think that's about the week in review! Sorry it's so long!! I figured that since I don't ever have time to write in my journal, this will have to suffice! Thank you all for your prayers this week! They helped SO much!!! Please continue to pray for the people we teach. I know that this church is true! It's such a blessing to have it in our lives! And because we are among the VERY tiny percent of people who have ever lived to have the gospel, it is our responsibility to share it with others! So get out there and share it with someone :) Love you all so much!!! Have a great week. Love, Sister Jensen <3

Hard Week

Dear Family & Friends, Well this has been a trying week but I am so grateful for my Saviour, Jesus Christ and the enabling power of His atonement. It really is so true that whenever we're feeling at our weakest, we just have to rely on the strength of Jesus Christ and he will pull us through! I'm so thankful for Him and for His love. Monday: We had Zone P-day. It was great. The Zone Leaders put together some fun activities and we competed in groups. We finished our preparations and then had to leave that night to Demontfort for an exchange. In the end, we decided to do a workover (which means we all stay in the area together) to help out the sisters in their area. It was fun, besides the fact that they didn't have any extra beds so Sister Muller and I had to sleep on the floor! haha. Good times. Tuesday: Mostly just a day of finding! We had a lot of success and found about 25 potentials that day and talked to over a hundred people. It was a good day. I love talking to people about the gospel! It's always interesting. We headed back to our area at five and we were supposed to have a dinner appointment at 6:30 but she forgot so we just went back to the flat and ate some dinner. We had an appoinment with Agus at 8:30, but he didn't show up. :( Wednesday: In the morning we had to drive to the chapel and I got a priesthood blessing from my District leader as I had to go take my driving test again! I took it in Lichfield again and was much more relaxed than the time before. Good news, I PASSED! I am now an officially licensed UK driver. It was honestly a miracle since I haven't even been able to practice since the last time I took my test. We came back to Coventry right after and stopped by our investigator Kristina. She had a friend over, Flori and we ended up teaching both of them! It was so great. Flori was really interested in what we had to say and we got her details and a return appointment. Finding through investigators is the best. We dropped off some chocolates at a member's house, as her brother died of cancer this week :( Then we did some finding in city centre and went to a dinner appointment. After we had ward coordination. Thursday: District meeting in the morning. It was great, as always. We had a testimony meeting at the end and there was just so much love in the room! It's such a solid district. We're all really sad that it's transfers this week. After, we drove to Rugby for exchanges. I stayed in Rugby with Sister Harkness. She's from North Ireland and she's hilarious. We taught some lessons and went to her ward council. The best and worst thing about exchanges is you stay up way too late talking! We were both so tired in the morning! haha. Friday: We had a lesson in the morning with a guy from Poland. It went okay. There was a bit of a language barrier so we decided that next time they teach him they should use some pamphlets in his language. We had lunch after and then did some finding. We exchanged back at about 2:30 and then went back to Coventry. We had a couple lessons and then went to our investigator Sarah's house for dinner. She's so great. I love her! We had burgers for dinner and then watching Joseph Smith:Prophet of the Restoration. She LOVED it and kept pausing it to make comments. Haha. We had a chat with her after and we were going through the baptismal interview questions with her. The only one she had a problem answering was the one about homosexuality (not that she has ever practiced, she just doesn't think it's wrong if other people do.) So we pretty much just asked her to pray about it. Please keep her in your prayers this week! She is READY to be baptised besides this one concern. Saturday: SUCH a great day! We went with Carol in the morning to a relief society activity. Then we had to hurry to the flat and pick up some supplies. We had planned to do district finding in City Centre and Sister Muller and I have been working for the past couple weeks to make this massive book of Mormon. So we took it into city centre and we did some finding with the district. About 10 minutes into it, a family from the ward bumped into us. They have 4 kids and the kids were really getting into it! They started going around with us and giving out Book of Mormons and pass-along cards. They loved it! It was so much fun too. How can anyone refuse something from a child? haha. Toby stayed with me most of the time, he's the one in the picture holding the box of Book of Mormons. He would go up to people and say, "Pick a number between one and ten" and then they'd say a number and he would reply, "Congratulations, you've won a prize" and give them the BOM. Haha. It was hilarious. And it actually worked! So it was a big success. We're going to try to get more of the ward involved and do it again next week. After, we had a dinner appointment and then had to go in for weekly planning. Sunday: Another great day!! We had 4 investigators come to church and they loved it. We had a DA with the Riley's after and then service in city centre. We did some finding after and then came in for companion study, dinner, and call-ins. We''ll receive the dodge call tonight about transfers! I think we'll get a third sister and we'll be in a trio until Sister Muller goes home on the 14th of March. It should be fun! I really look forward to this coming transfer. It's going to be a good one. I know that Heavenly Father is preparing me and that he sends trials in our lives to help us grow. I know that my Saviour lives and that he is closer to me now than He ever has been before. Thank you all for your prayers and love! I love you all. Sister Jensen
